Based on some feedback from carers and participants at our CST groups, we created Activity Packs in November last year and started offering them at our groups. The Activity Packs mean that you can continue to help your loved ones at home between our group sessions and enjoy the activities that they like best with them.
These packs have proven to be very popular so we are now offering them to anyone who would like to use our ideas to help with cognitive stimulation.
We provide a wide variety of things to do in the packs – word wheels, crosswords, spatial awareness games and general knowledge ‘nudgers’ which help give a sense of achievement.
Although some of the activities have solutions (which are provided on a separate sheet), it is important to remember that the brain is stimulated by attempting to do the activities rather than to ‘get everything right’.
